I have done some research and wanted to outline some of the best free to download serum presets going at the current time.

I have also come across many other free serum presets which I have excluded from this list below, I have only outlined some of the best ones in my opinion.

These are the free serum presets I would personally recommend all music producers downloading and adding to their music production projects, check them out below;

3. Antidote Audio Free Serum Presets

Comes with over 6 free serum preset packs with over 116 of free serum presets, all of these free serum presets come with an instant download, you will be required to input your email to gain access to all the premium freebies which is also free, in my opinion, it's well worth it.

All downloads start instantly and have been well-designed and developed. I Highly recommend checking these presets out if you are a serum producer.

This includes;

• FREE Dubstep Serum Growls - 10 free serum presets.

When it comes to serum and free presets, this pack comes with over 4131 free presets shared by the community, all of these presets can be tested before downloading individually. In my opinion, this is possibly the largest free serum presets collection available online.

I recommend checking these free presets outs, they will support many genre categories such as;

Also guys, if you are looking for premium xfer serum presets, then xferrecords the main creators behind serum 1 and serum 2 have released some decent paid serum presets.

Besides that, you might be asking yourself;

Are serum (1) presets compatible with Serum 2?

Yes, all serum presets v1 are compatible with serum 2, so if you are using serum 2 all of these presets will work perfectly fine with serum 2.

Are all of these serum presets royalty-free?

Yes all serum presets I have listed above have been designed with the purpose to be used for free, all of these virtual instrumental presets for serum are free to download and come with royalty-free licence, but, I do recommend checking with each web developer behind these serum presets just to make sure. 

Then again, these are just the instrumental layout, composition and programmed sound instrument within serum itself. Personally, I am not sure how can someone own a copyright to a sound layout which can be recreated and designed by one using serum itself, then again this could explain why they are so many users and websites are selling serum presets.

Saying that, always check with the developers behind the presets, better to be safe than sorry. If you are working on a major track released inside the music industry which is going to be heard or viewed by millions of users, I would recommend sending the developers behind the preset an email just to get a clarification on your question.
