Hey guys I just wanted to point out that there seems to be an issue with Cubase, a Corruption issue.

This may be due to a few issues;

1 – Low hard dicks space

2 – Cubase just casually crashes and corrupts your file after you save or update your saved file

3 – Memory issue or CPU issues

the best way to overcome file corruption issues in Cubase is to create an auto backup of your project files, this will prevent you from losing your Cubase project.

Create an Auto-Backup

1. Open the Preferences dialog (top menu)

2. Select General inside the Preferences dialog, and activate the Auto Save option.

this will create backup copies of your Cubase project files as you work, and if your file ever gets corrupted then you will be able to go back and re-open an uncorrupted version of your project file, resolving the corruption issue.

Unfortunately, if you have not made a backup then you will not there a way of retrieving your corrupted cubase file.

So remember to set up your auto backup to prevent the “Cubase invalid project file” error.
