Hey guys, I came to a long discussion about music production in general and wanted to know which melody loops do people actually use? 

I have used loopcloud and even have subscription for it which I have to pay each month, anyway i was wondering which other platforms do people actually use?

What do I find with loop cloud? Personal opinion here.

1. The samples are saturated
2. It's hard to find the correct melody loop or sample.
3. I have actually downloaded and tried to work with 20 different melody loops, but never used one in my compositions.

Which makes me think, why do I pay for the subscription?

The only reason which comes to my mind, is ideas, I generally like composing my own melodies, and have been for over 20 years, but when it comes to ideas, I tend to listen to the instrumentals, purchase them with points, end up not using these and then end up creating my own similar melody with different feel and instruments.

Which explains why I have kept loopcloud, they do have some nice samples, and I was planning on using some of the guitar melodies and piano melodies within some of my projects, but just had no time to do so as I have been very busy, but anyway it's on my to-do list! HAHA!
