Hey guys, this is something I used to ask myself when I started producing beats and compositions in FL studio, how do you actually send a pattern to a mixer in FL studio?
Well, this is a very simple question.
I will do my best to explain this as easy as I can with visual explanation diagram images which I will show below.
Now all patterns, or piano rolls, can be sent to the mixer within FL Studio using the "Mixer Track Bus Number" settings highlighted in "RED".
All of these pattern can be sent to individual mixer numbers such as 1,2,3,4, or they can all be sent to the same mixer number, accusing the same effects from just 1 channel mixer stack state.
Personally, I like to send all my patterns such as kicks, snares, hi-hats, melodies, bass to an individual mixer numbers, and mix and master these individually with post effects.
This is the easiest way to send or add any pattern, piano roll to FL Studio mixer. This will now connect and sync these patterns inside FL Studio with the mixer "inserts":
- Number 1 will be sent to "insert 1" within the mixer.
- Number 2 will be sent to "insert 2" within the mixer.
- Number 3 will be sent to "insert 3" within the mixer.
- Number 4 will be sent to "insert 4" within the mixer.
It's as simple as that guys, this is the easiest way to send any pattern, or piano roll pattern to the "mixer" inside FL Studio.
So if there is anyone looking to send any patterns, such as melodies, drum patterns for mixing and mastering "FL Studio Mixer" then this is the easiest way.
If you guys have any questions or need any further help, feel free to reply within this topic below, and I will do my best to get back to you.
